Helping improve TESDA's training program
In a statement, TCL said its collaboration with TESDA involves the donation of its AAT Inverter+ Refrigerators and training supplies to TESDA Technology Institution (TTI) Beneficiaries in the National Capital Region.
With this collaboration, we hope that we can inspire greatness among the TESDA training facilities and to bring forth more inspiration for everyone. Looking forward to more partnerships like this in the future, said TCL Product Manager for Washing Machine and Refrigerator Eric Li.
The parties signed the memorandum of understanding at the TCL PH Headquarters. Present were officials and representatives from both TCL and TESDA-NCR.
The TESDA Technology Institutions (TTIs) in NCR covered by the partnership are TESDA NavotaAs Training Institute (TNTI), TESDA Manila Training and Assessment Center (TMTAC), TESDA PAMAMARISAN Training and Assessment Center (TPTAC), TESDA Pasay-Makati District Training and Assessment Center (PMDTAC), Quezon City Lingkod Bayan Skills Development Center (QCLBSDC), MUNTIPARLAS-TAPAT District Training and Assessment Center (MDTAC) and TESDA-NCR Regional Training Center (TESDA-NCR RTC).
The deal was also sealed the same month as the celebration of Nutrition Month this July.
In line with this, the partnership provided assistance to TESDA’s training related to food processing and domestic work programs.
TESDA is very fortunate to accidentally stumble upon TCL and welcome this promising partnership, which came at the most opportune time. TCL's donation for equipment and tools to our TESDA Training Institutions will be very useful as they deliver quality TVET trainings through our community-based approach in NCR, TESDA Manila District Director Niña Connie Dodd said.
TCL said it also looks forward to more collaboration with more training centers in the future.
