Confirmed: vivo to launch a 44W fast-charging entry-level phone in the Philippines this August 19!
vivo Philippines has just confirmed that the Y27 with FAST 44W USB-C charging will officially launch in the country this August 19, 2023.

As mentioned, the device highlights a 44W fast charging capability that can recharge its big 5,000mAh battery from 0 to 29 percent in just 15 minutes. This feature is highly useful for individuals that are always in a rush.
At 44W, this is one of the fastest for its expected PHP 8,000 to PHP 10,000 price tag.
Moreover, vivo told us that it has AI-powered protection for nighttime charging that will intelligently prevent overcharging and help extend battery lifespan.

For the rest of its features, the device comes in a slim 8.07 mm body with a scratch-resistant back cover in Sea Blue and Burgandy Black weighing just 190 g as well as an IP54 rating for pollution, hazy weather, and splashes.
It also has a 6.64-inch LCD (IPS) screen with an FHD+ resolution and 600 nits peak brightness, 2.0GHz 12nm Helio G85 octa-core processor with Mali-G52 MC2 GPU, 6GB RAM, up to 6GB Extended RAM 3.0 tech, an Interface Preserver for seamless running and switching of apps, 128GB internal storage with 1TB microSD expansion slot, side-mounted fingerprint reader, 50MP main cam, 2MP depth camera, and an 8MP selfie shooter.
