TECNO Phantom Ultimate rollable smartphone concept revealed!

TECNO Mobile has earlier flexed its R&D muscle with the introduction of the Phantom Ultimate.

This is the TECNO Phantom Ultimate concept smartphone!

The TECNO Phantom Ultimate is the company's newest concept smartphone that uses a rollable display technology.

With a press of a button, it expands its display sideways from 6.55-inch to 7.11-inch in 1.2-1.3 concepts. Moreover, it has an extra screen at the back with Always-On Display tech.

GSMArena reported that to make this possible with the use of a single-drive motor system with a button positioned at the top of the phone. The panel they used is a 7.11-inch LTPO OLED screen with 2296 x 1596 resolution at 388 ppi with a 100 percent DCI-P3 color gamut.

Despite having this sophisticated tech, TECNO managed to make it just 9.3 mm thick at its base. The company also promised that it can be held easily with one hand. 

The device also has a protective glass for the sliding area and a textured back for better grip.

The camera module and the second AOD screen

The TECNO Phantom Ultimate also has a triple camera module at the back with a ring LED flash for the center camera. But, there's no info about it yet.

This is different from the TECNO Phantom V rollable-sliding-screen foldable concept that the company introduced earlier this year.

Since this is just a concept phone, it means that it is still under development. They are just showing that this tech is possible. For sure, it won't be released anytime soon.
