Our experience: CHERRY Philippines has a new high-quality smart bulb for just PHP 285!

CHERRY Philippines has recently launched a new Smart Multi-Color Bulb for just PHP 285.

Meet the CHERRY Smart Multi-Color Bulb (11W)

On paper, this is better, brighter, and more affordable than its previous 9W bulb (PHP 750).

The new CHERRY Smart Multi-Color Bulb (11W) features RGB + CCT (Correlated Color Temperatures), 16 million RGB Multi-Colored Lights, and 806 lumens.

It also has Smart WiFi Control (2.4GHz) via the CHERRY Philippines app, a Scheduled ON/OFF function, and Music Rhythm Adaptive capability.

The new bulb also works with both Google Home and Amazon Echo for smart home integration.

According to CHERRY, it has a lifespan of 20,000 hours.

The product weighs just 120 grams.

Specs of the bulb

I recently purchased this device at the newly opened CHERRY Philippines concept store at Robinsons Manila as it is one of the most affordable smart bulbs in town.

Based on my experience, it is very easy to use. Just plug it in and connect to the CHERRY Philippines app and you are good to go.

The best part here is it is a high-quality-looking bulb that doesn't feel cheap at all. The quality of light produced reminded me of the pricier smart bulbs I purchased before. 

Bright enough and rich with colors!

Its brightness could also be adjusted from 1 to 100 percent with my voice via Google Home, Amazon Echo, or the CHERRY Philippines app. It could be changed to different colors as well. 

The colors are rich and they look like how I imagined them. I attached it to my lamp to function as a mood lamp. My usual setting is just 15 percent brightness and that's good enough for me. At 100 percent, it could look really bright.

Some of the commands I frequently use in my Google Home setup are:

1. Hey Google, set the lamp to pink.

2. Hey Google, dim the lamp to 15 percent.

3. Hey Google, turn on or off the lamp

While the number of features is limited via voice command, it has a timer, scheduler, a way to choose different scenarios (night, work, leisure, colorful, and more), and even adapt to the beats of your music.

High-quality smart bulb for less

At PHP 285, the Smart Multi-Color Bulb (11W) is one of my best buys in improving my smart home ecosystem this year. It functioned just the way I want my smart bulb to be and more.
