GCash launches online shopping protection for just PHP 34!

GCash, the leading mobile wallet in the country, is providing Filipinos with protection when they shop online for only PHP 34.

Insurance coverage for online orders?

GCash teamed up with Chubb Insurance to introduce the Online Shopping Platform via GInsure in time for the holiday rush. For just PHP 34, users of the platform can have 60 days of coverage of up to PHP 20,000 for all their online purchases.

The insurance covers cases when the buyer did not receive his orders, and when the item has been accidentally damaged, is not as described, or stolen.

This insurance is pre-ticked when GCash is chosen as the mode of payment, making it possible to seamlessly incorporate protection coverage.

The insurance can be tapped for transactions made across 1,500 online shops, including popular e-commerce platforms such as Shopee, Zalora, and TikTok.

While we continue working towards making our finance for all vision a reality, we also want to ensure we protect our customers in every way possible. With OSP, we aim to lessen fraudulent incidents such as delivery scams for items that are paid with GCash.
