HONOR X9b teaser spotted: Will feature Curved OLED w/ Ultra Tough Glass technology!

The possible successor to the highly acclaimed X9a was spotted in Malaysia. This time, it is named "X9b".

The first you will notice is its resemblance to the HUAWEI Mate 50 Series with its Orange back cover and large circular camera island with Golden patterns.

Another is its strikingly similar looks to the HONOR X50 announced back in July 2023 and that phone had a reinforced glass technology as well.

Just like its predecessor, this X9b is marketed to have Ultra Tough Glass. It's not yet clear if they further enhanced the durability of glass or retained the same technology. Anyways, the previous X9a had crazy toughness, to begin with.

If the HONOR X9b turns out to be a rebranded X50, then we can expect it to feature a 120Hz 6.78-inch OLED panel with 2652 x 1200 resolution, Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 with Adreno GPU, 16GB RAM, up to 512GB storage, 5800mAh battery + 35W fast charger. 

In terms of cameras, it has a 108MP primary shooter + 2MP depth and an 8MP front-facing camera.

Anyway, there's still a possibility of it being an entirely different device so please take these specifications with a grain of salt.
