SHARP exhibited its latest Smart Living Solutions, including ideas driven by Artificial Intelligence (AI) teaming with start-ups and goods utilizing its unique nature technology, with an emphasis on the subject "Less Is More." SHARP wants to enrich families with increased convenience and comfort, guided by the needs of modern consumers' lifestyles.

Exhibits from SHARP highlight the organization's goal of enforcing "Better Safety" in cities in the wake of unforeseen hazardous occurrences. A waterproof luggage bag contains a set of components, including batteries and application servers, that are readily able to establish a local 5G environment as part of the "Instant 5G Network" local 5G disaster relief solution. Another essential component of creating smart cities is mobility. In this regard, SHARP's AI driving assistance feature keeps it at the forefront of innovation when it comes to improving driver safety.

In line with the world's demand for a sustainable approach, SHARP has shifted in Green Energy and Green Digital Communication. Its innovative solar development is compatible with household and business applications, and it has innovative capabilities for developing new solar modules for the electric vehicle (EV) industry and outer space. Sharp IGZO backplane achieves outstanding visibility of the new electronic paper display or ePoster at zero watts ("0W") power usage when displaying a still image, adding to the sustainability line-up. The ePoster, a cooperation with E Ink Holdings Inc., is now available in A2 format, a typical poster size.
The brand says it believes in taking part in having a big role in bringing innovators to create synergies that further enhance technology advancements and speed to market. SHARP has unveiled specifications of its edge AI tech and established a system that oversees cooperation and collaboration. Furthermore, SHARP has collaborated with 5 startups to boost the development of generative AI as they believe these start-ups have plenty of ideas and tech. FOXCONN, SHARP's strategic partner, also displayed their SUV Electric Vehicle, as well as a variety of automotive semiconductors, high-reliability automotive MCUs, and LED IC control.
In an effort to co-creating with people with diverse technologies and backgrounds, SHARP also hosted a hackathon at the SHARP Tech Day, which greeted ground-breaking ideas from engineers and designers working in video equipment, corporations, teams, or individuals from start-up companies and academia, regardless of industry or occupation. Participants produced applications and software prototypes under several themes such as "AI", "Web3", "QoL (Quality of life)", and "Entertainment", among others, in order to redefine the new value of televisions in the future.

The Hackathon winner, "Team Yukai an Nakama Tachi", proposed the idea of an "AI assistant standing close by the family" and bagged a prize of JPY 1 million cash prize. Meanwhile, the company also considering future joint development and acceleration support on the said winning prototype.
The whole event was full of innovation, quality, and sustainability inputs, it was also packed with a lot of crowd while SHARP says they would trust the guests would take home knowledge about its newer techs to begin conversations around adoption and new partnerships.
