ASUS unveils new ExpertBook series laptops at CES 2024!

Similarly, these products carry ASUS's iconic US MIL-STD military standard durability rating, eco-friendly materials, and new AI features.

There are two models in the series namely the ExpertBook B5 (B5404/B5604) and the ExpertBook CX54 Chromebook Plus.

The first model ExpertBook B5 boasts magnesium alloy material making it lightweight at 1.29kg only.

It comes in 14-inch or 16-inch sizes with options of WXGA or WQXGA resolutions, touchscreen or non-touchscreen, and anti-glare technology.

Inside, it is powered by the Intel Core Ultra 7 processor with NPU. ASUS says it is enhanced by three AI engines and AI-powered security as well. Moreover, it is paired with RTX 2050 graphics, 64GB dual SO-DIMM DDR5 RAM, and up to 2TB M.2 NVMe PCIe 4.0 SSD.

Meanwhile, ASUS also included a 4G LTE and WIF 7(CMA model) to ensure a seamless wireless connectivity experience for professionals on the go.

ASUS also mentioned using the AiSense IR Camera system and AI noise-canceling apart from the ASUS Private View and smart card reader.

Moving forward, the next model is called the ASUS ExpertBook CX54 Chromebook Plus (CX5403).

This machine is specially made for mid-level professionals who want to experience a new era of intelligent computing.

It features eco-friendly materials and an all-metal chassis and weighs 1.3kg only for portability.

The Chromebook boasts a 14-inch WQXGA NanoEdge display with a 100 percent DCI-P3 color gamut, a 16:10 aspect ratio, and supports a USI stylus for drawing or writing.

Furthermore, ASUS also says it is equipped with enhanced Data security, a fingerprint sensor, a webcam with a privacy shield, a Google Titan C2 Security chip, and enterprise-level management tools such as Zero-Touch Enrollment and Google Admin Console which they claim a reliable partner for IT managers.

Apart from ExpertBooks, ASUS also introduced the ExpertCenter D7 SFF (D700SER) and ASUS ExpertCenter D9 Mini Tower. 

These are desktop computers that feature aesthetics and functionality with their sleek and ultra-compact design at 8.6L and 15.9L respectively.

They are powered by the Intel 14th Gen Raptor Lake Refresh S Series and a full-sized NVIDIA RTX 4060 graphics card.

The ASUS Tool-Free Design, in addition to clever interior placement and cable management, saves the workload on IT professionals the brand says.

TPM chips, Kensington lock slots, ASUS Pre Deployment Service (APDS), and ASUS Endpoint Management Service (AEMS) are optional and help to protect organizations from data breaches. ExpertCenter desktops are built of environmentally safe PCR material, a new 500W TFX platinum PSU, and a clever fan to improve power efficiency. They have been tested to meet US MIL-STD 810H military requirements, ensuring durability in any operating environment.
