Home Credit achieves massive milestones!

Home Credit says they've been around since 2013 and have granted a total of 295.7 billion as of December 2023 in credit across the Philippines via installments, cash loans, and revolving credit products.

The financial firm's introduction into the country ten years ago brought an essential service for Filipinos who were underserved by conventional loans and were observed turning to informal and unofficial lending companies. Starting with mobile phones, then moving on to laptops and computers, furniture, home appliances, even bikes, sporting goods, home remodeling, and department store shopping.

In the past few years, Home Credit grew its range to include a credit card and the virtual limit Qwarta. With its ongoing improvements in offerings and services, the company is considered a reliable partner in meeting the different demands of Filipinos from Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao, Home Credit claims.

Thanks to our easy and accessible consumer finance products, we supported countless Filipinos in acquiring gadgets, furniture, appliances, and more, to realize their goals for themselves and their families. In 2013, we began with just seven loans processed, but today, we have officially served over 10 million customers,” said Sheila Paul, Chief Marketing Officer of HCPH.

Currently, Home Credit says they have more than 22M contracts existing, which also include 17 million POS loans, 2M+ cash loans, and 2M+ revolving loans.

Home Credit also reported that smartphones dominated POS loans, with nearing 12 million borrowed units. Last year alone, the firm said they financed 1.7 million mobile devices through its several promos, such as the most recent 0 percent interest rate on installment financing.

Furthermore, the company said that Filipino consumers have displayed great interest in terms of improving their living spaces or gadgets.

The popularity of modernizing households and moving to sophisticated tech items have also resonated firmly as seen by the financing of more than 1M TV units and 867,000 computer products in the last decade.
