realme 12 Pro+ transparent edition teased!

Recently, realme Europe CEO and Global Head of Product Marketing Francis Wong teased an upcoming smartphone with a transparent back design.

If everyone else's assumption is correct, this device is a variant of the recently announced realme 12 Pro+.

The curved transparent glass back of the handset shows the camera sensors including the periscope module and the battery pack.

This is a pretty cool design that might catch the attention of those who like futuristic and edgy-looking products.

There is no word yet on when or where it will be released as well as its pricing and availability.

Francis Wong is even asking the public on X (formerly Twitter) for suggestions on where to launch the new device.

To recap, the realme 12 Pro+ is the company's most powerful realme number Series camera phone yet.

In particular, it is packed with the50MP f/1.8 Sony IMX890, OIS + 8MP f/2.2 ultra-wide-angle + 64MP f/2.8 OmniVision OV64B 3x periscope, 6x in-sensor zoom, up to 120x zoom, OIS + LED flash. For series, you get a 32MP f/2.4 Sony sensor

The device also features a 6.7-inch OLED FHD+ screen with 120Hz refresh rate, In-Display fingerprint reader, 4nm Snapdragon 72s Gen 2 chip, up to 12GB RAM, up to 256GB internal storage, and a 5,000mAh battery capacity with USB-C 67W SUPERVOOC.

It also comes with stereo speakers, Hi-Res Audio, and Android 14 OS with realme UI 5.0 skin overlay.
