TECNO joins MWC 2024 - Showcases rollable screen phone, AI innovations, AR gaming
Rising global smartphone brand TECNO showcased several new innovations such as AI, AR and more at its second appearance at MWC 2024 in Barcelona.

AI-powered robot dog, Augmented Reality and more!
In 2023, TECNO debuted at MWC by introducing its acclaimed Phantom V Fold. The company's first foldable. The brand launched and introduced the new POVA 6 Pro 5G this year. The new smartphone's key innovations include the 6,000mAh high-density Battery, Dynamic-Light mini LED light effects, 108MP main camera, 32MP selfie camera and the 6nm Dimensity 6080 5G octa-core processor.

One of the more interesting innovations that the brand introduced is the TECNO Dynamic 1 AI-Robotic dog. It features an enhanced 45 Nm/kg torque output with a so-called 'sophisticated' cooling system on the robot's knee joints which allows the robot to climb stairs and perform gestures. It even has four microphones and AI-driven voice recognition which allows the robotic dog to respond to voice commands.
The robot is fitted with an AI HyperSense Fusion System for stable movement. Inside is the Intel RealSense D430 depth camera, dual optical sensors and infrared sensors for precise navigation and an 8-core high-performance ARM CPU for dynamic stability, rapid post-fall recovery and a top speed of 3.7m/s.
The Dynamic 1 comes with 64GB of onboard storage, WIFI 6 and Bluetooth 5.2 and is powered by a large 15,000mAh battery with a modular design for easy replacement. One pack can run the robot for 90 minutes.

TECNO Pocket Go is the Industry's first AR gaming set which combines AR glasses and an AR Windows handheld in a compact form factor. It offers cinematic gaming with two 0.71-inch micro-OLED screens that supposedly emulate a 215-inch television from six meters away. The headset has a six-gyroscope, N'BASS nano-structured acoustic materials and advanced AI-head tracking and vibration algorithms to enhance immersive gaming. It even has an adjustable diopter setting for up to 600 degrees for users with varying visual requirements and to provide greater eye comfort when playing.
Aside from the abovementioned devices, TECNO also showcased the PHANTOM Ultimate which was first introduced in August 2023 and has a unique double-sided display and an industry-leading 1.3-second screen expansion efficiency all in a slim 9.93mm thickness design.

| Advanced Materials and Unique Fabrics |
TECNO also showcased the results of their research and development of advanced materials for 3D stereo optical grating and Unique Fabrics such as Leathers with luscious scents or Organosillicone Fabric leather. This uses advanced silicone high-performance coating materials that significantly reduce carbon emissions.
TECNO also showcased the recently announced POVA 6 Pro 5G.
