TECNO has just launched the POVA 6 Pro 5G budget gaming smartphone at the MWC 2024 event in Barcelona, Spain.

The TECNO POVA 6 Pro 5G is the company's newest gaming-focused smartphone boasting several premium-level features for an expected affordable price tag. It also brings
brings improvements in the design, display, battery, and cameras, among others.
Through extensive research into global users, we learned that there is great anticipation for even smoother gaming and entertainment experiences and longer-lasting endurance, said Leo Li, Product Director of TECNO. POVA 6 Pro 5G is designed in response to these expectations, with advanced battery technology, mighty performance and striking audiovisuals to deliver entertainment beyond limits.
The TECNO POVA 6 Pro 5G boasts a futuristic-looking Dynamic-Tech Design with the Dynamic-Light Mini LED light at the back similar to Nothing phones.
In front, it now has a 6.78-inch AMOLED screen with 120Hz refresh rate, 2160Hz PWM dimming, FHD+ resolution, an In-Display fingerprint sensor, and a top-center punch-hole.
Inside, it is still powered 6nm MediaTek Dimensity 6080 octa-core processor with Mali-G57 MC2 GPU, 12GB RAM, 12GB virtual RAM, 256GB expandable storage, and a large 6,000mAh battery capacity with USB-C 70W fast charging with bypass charging support.
To keep the performance in check, TECNO also added the POVA SuperCooled System.
TECNO claims that it has 11+ hours of gaming and 14+ hours of video streaming. The battery lifespan of the device is also promised to be at 80 percent even after 6 years.

For cameras, it has a 108MP main camera with a 2MP f/2.4 secondary shooter and an AI camera. For selfies, you will get an improved 32MP snapper with an adjustable Dual-tone LED flash.
