realme 12X launched!
The phone still carries some similarities from its series like the luxury watch-inspired circular camera island. But this time, realme replaced the faux leather cover with a different material. Perhaps it looks like a glasstic with a matte finish on the Black color and a marble-like pattern for the Green color.
In front, it has a 6.67-inch LCD screen with a 120Hz refresh rate and FHD+ 2400 x 1080 resolution at 388 ppi.
Inside, it is powered by the 2.2GHz 6nm Dimensity 6100+ octa-core processor with Mali-G57 MC2 GPU, 12GB RAM + 12GB virtual RAM, and 256GB/512GB storage options.
For battery, it has a 5,000mAh capacity that charges using a USB-C 45W power brick.
For the camera, the phone features a 50MP primary sensor accompanied by unknown two cameras and an LED flash.
Other features noted are an IP54 rating for splash and water resistance and a side-mounted fingerprint scanner.
For connectivity, it has 5G, 4G LTE, WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS and dual SIM.
On the software side, it runs Android 14 with realme UI 5.0.
China price with direct to PHP conversion (no taxes and duties yet):
realme 12X 256GB - CNY 1,499 (around PHP 11.6K)
realme 12X 512GB - CNY 1,799 (around PHP 13.9K)
The device is going to be available for sale in China starting April 1, 2024. No word yet if it will come to the Philippines.
