Upgraded Nokia phones unveiled

The company officially released the new devices on April 11, with the feature phones powered by a UNISOC 6531F processor.

While the Nokia 6310 (2024) continues to sport the design of the 2021 version, HMD Global upgraded its power capacity with a larger 1450 mAh battery.

The case is the same as the Nokia 5310 (2024) but with a bigger body size and battery capacity. It features a 2.8-inch 240 x 320 screen and a Ziguang 6531F processor.

The Nokia 230 (2024) has likewise kept its classic 2015 design, with a larger battery capacity.

The three phones have USB Type-C interface.

Can it support users’ digital lives? It may be hard as this only supports 2G networks. This came despite some regions’ decision to shut down their 2G networks.

In the Philippines, telco carriers have been strengthening their efforts to shift 2G users to more advanced networks.

HMD Global has yet to issue the official prices of its new Nokia phones.
