Insta360 X4 is now available in PH!

As the main highlight, the 8K 30 fps video recording allows users to get more details in different orientations. A useful feature for most content creators/vloggers who prefer to capture the moment and then worry later about the framing.

Previously, you get little details on 4K or the predecessor's 5.7K resolution but since it has been upgraded to 8K, now the video becomes clearer and better details, as claimed by the brand.

Another highlight is the implementation of H.265 codec with maximum bitrate for videos reaching up to 200Mbps coming from 120Mbps to accommodate the improved resolution.

If you prefer smoother frame rates, the Insta360 X4 can still do 60 fps at 5.7K resolution or 4K at 100 fps.

The Me Mode feature allows users to automatically keep themselves in the frame but will get a 4K 30 fps recording which is still a huge leap from predecessor's FHD capture.

Meanwhile, it also has MaxView mode which records 170-degree FOV at 4K/60 fps and Timelapse mode is increased to 11K from 8K.

The updated version also has various useful enhancements. For instance, the touchscreen has a bigger 2.5-inch panel and is protected by Gorilla glass. The camera's two fish eye lenses also have removable lens guards to avoid permanent scratches.

The brand also enhanced the battery life with its 2,290mAh capacity coming from 1800mAh. Insta360 claims it can record up to 135 minutes in 5.7K 30 fps mode or 75 minutes in 8K mode.

It is also rated for diving up to 10 meters or 33ft deep water without extra protection. There is an Invisible Dive Case that allows you to plunge deeper by 50m/164ft. It can also operate in frigid temperatures as low as -20 degrees Celsius or -4 degrees Fahrenheit, making it ideal for taking films on your ski trip. Although the camera is 23g heavier and now weighs 203g.

Finally, all these features are made possible thanks to the 5nm AI chip inside the Insta360 X4. It also uses 72MP 1/2MP that can capture stills in INSP or DNG formats.
