ZTE associate company nubia recently launched its latest flip smartphone. It is one of the most affordable foldable phones in the world.
Design-wise, the nubia Flip 5G shares plenty of similarities with the TECNO Phantom V Flip.
It also has a circular camera hump with a secondary 1.43-inch OLED screen to show watch faces, 3D interactive pets, and calls, and even use it to view yourself while taking high-quality selfies using its primary cameras.
When opened, it has a 6.9-inch 10-bit AMOLED Screen with a 120Hz refresh rate and a 2790 x 1188 resolution.
According to its lab tests, its folding mechanism has been tested to survive 200,000+ folds, the same as the Galaxy Z Flip5.
For the rest of the specs, the handset is powered by the 4nm Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 SoC paired with up to 12GB RAM, up to 512GB internal storage, and a fairly large (for a flip foldable) 4,310mAh battery capacity.
Using its USB-C 33W Fast Charging tech, nubia claims that it can charge the device from 0 to 50 percent in just 18 minutes.
The device also has a 50MP main camera with a 2MP helper, a side-mounted fingerprint reader, stereo speakers, WiFi 6E, 5G, and dual SIM slots.
