realme Note 60 arrives in PH: ArmorShell body, 32MP main cam, PHP 4,999 starting price

realme silently announced the Note 60 in the Philippines.

A more durable Note 50 with a better main camera

This is the successor of its best-selling realme Note 50 earlier this year boasting a more durable body and an improved primary camera.

In particular, the new phone boasts the company's so-called "ArmorShell" protection with a "robust" die-cast aluminum structure, reinforced glass-coated protection film, shock-absorbing circuit board, component dispensing glue, screen protection bezel, and an InSeal design.

Moreover, it has an upgraded IP64 dust and water resistance instead of IP54. This means that it is protected from total dust ingress as well as water spray from any direction.

The company also claims to retain 80 percent of its battery capacity even after 1,000 charge cycles.

The main camera from 8MP has also been updated to 32MP.

Front and back design

For specs, almost the same. It still features a 6.74-inch HD+ 90Hz LCD screen, a UNISOC T612 chip, a 5,000mAh battery with USB-C 10W charging, and a side-mounted fingerprint scanner.

This device runs on Android 14 with realme UI skin out of the box. It also has the TÜV Rheinland High Reliability Certification and promises stable performance for up to 48 months.
