HONOR X60, X60 Pro launched w/ durable ultra-slim body and large batteries

HONOR launched the X60 Series last night comprising base and Pro models with big batteries and thin designs.

The phones will keep the iconic durability being able to withstand accidental drops. This is even certified by the SGS Gold Label with 5-star reliability.

They also have a slim form factor measuring 7.88mm for the base version and 7.98mm for the Pro variant. The two smartphones also come with lightweight bodies at 189g and 188g, respectively.

But the main difference is the larger battery while having the same thin form. The HONOR X60 has a 5,800mAh size + 35W charger while the X60 Pro has a 6,600mAh capacity + 66W power brick. 

Moving forward, the two phones feature identical designs at the back and come in Orange, White, and Green colorways.

The standard version uses a slightly larger 120Hz 6.8-inch TFT LCD with FHD+ 2412 x 1080 resolution and 850 nits peak brightness.

Meanwhile, the Pro model uses a 120Hz 6.78-inch AMOLED screen with 1.5K 2700 x 1224 resolution. 

Inside, the X60 is powered by the 6nm Dimensity 7025 Ultra chip. On the other hand, the X60 Pro uses the 2.2GHz 4nm Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 with Adreno GPU.

They are paired with 8GB/12GB RAM and 128GB/256GB/512GB memory configurations.

Both devices share the same 108MP main shooter + LED flash while at the front, they are equipped with an 8MP selfie camera.

Other features are stereo speakers, a side-mounted fingerprint for non-pro, and an In-Display fingerprint for the Pro version.

Connectivity-wise, both have 5G SA/NSA, dual 4G VoLTE, WiFi, Bluetooth 5.1, GPS, and dual SIM. The 512GB version of X60 Pro also has satellite connectivity.

For OS, the two phones run Android 14 with MagicOS 8.0 skin on top.

These devices are going to be available in China on October 25. Meanwhile, there's word yet for other markets.
