HUAWEI Mate 70 Pro+ and Mate 70 RS ULTIMATE DESIGN are the company's most powerful phones yet
HUAWEI also introduced the Mate 70 Pro+ and Mate 70 RS ULTIMATE DESIGN. These two are two of the most powerful and capable phones from the Chinese tech giant yet.

The HUAWEI Mate 70 Pro+ features a refined-looking back cover design with a circular camera hump. It is also made with brocade fiber and gold threads. The frame is titanium alloy for improved scratch and water resistance. It is also IP68/IP69 rated for dust, up to 6 meters of water, and high-pressure water spray resistance.
In front, it uses a 6.9-inch large LTPO OLED HUAWEI Adrenaline display with 1-120Hz adaptive refresh rate, 300Hz touch sampling rate, 1440Hz PWM dimming, FHD+ 2832 x 1316 resolution, and 2,500 nits peak brightness. It is protected with the 2nd Gen Kunlun Glass. The display has slots for its 13MP f/2.4 ultra-wide shooter + 3D Depth Camera on top.
As expected, the company did not disclose the chipset of the device. But, it is said to be the Kirin 9020 12-core chip with the Maleoon 920 GPU. HUAWEI said that it provides a 30 percent boost in performance coming from the Kirin 9010.
The handset also has 16GB RAM, 512GB or 1TB internal storage, and a large 5,700mAH battery capacity with USB-C 100W SuperCharge, 80W wireless super fast charging, and 20W wireless reverse charging.
For cameras, it features the 50MP f/1.4-f/4.0 variable aperture super-focus RYYB sensor with OIS, 40MP f/2.2 RYYB ultra-wide-angle camera, 48MP f/2.1 super-focus macro 4x telephoto camera with OIS, and a 1.5MP multi-spectral red maple primary color camera. There is a Camera Laser Focus sensor and a Color temperature sensor as well. This can do up to 100x digital zoom and 4K video recording.
The handset also has a side-mounted fingerprint reader, IR Blaster, Dual diaphragm stereo unit, HUAWEI Histen, WiFi 6, Bluetooth 5.2, Tiantong satellite communication, BeiDou Satellite News, dual-band GPS, and HarmonyOS 4.3.
It comes with plenty of AI functionalities like AI Dynamic Photo, AI Movement Trajectory, AI Protagonist Moment, AI Cloud Enhanced 8, AI Interactive Theme, AI Teleportation/Airdrop Gesture, AI Summaries, AI Smart Control, AI Noise Reduction Calls, and AI Messages.
It measures 164.6 x 79.5 x 8.25 mm and weighs 226 grams.

Meanwhile, the HUAWEI Mate 70 RS ULTIMATE DESIGN is even more premium. It uses a sleeker design, high 0brightness titanium frame, and a dual-layer OLED HUAWEI Adrenaline display with up to 3,500 nits peak brightness. It also uses the company's strongest Basalt tempered Kunlun glass.
It is 8.2mm thick and weighs 251 grams for the Black/White variant and 256 grams for the Red edition.
