This sensor operates alongside other cameras to provide natural color reproduction, even in challenging lighting conditions.
Starting with the base Mate 70, it is the smallest and slimmest in its group with 7.8mm thin. The phone appeared with a circular camera bump and four color choices: White, Black, Purple, and Green.

In front, it uses a 6.7-inch LTPO OLED HUAWEI Adrenaline screen featuring FHD+ 2688 x 1216 resolution, 1-120Hz variable refresh rate, 2,500 nits peak brightness, 2nd gen Kunlun Glass protection with basalt tempered glass to withstand drops.
HUAWEI has kept silent with regards to the chip during launch, rumors point to the brand using a 6nm Kirin 9100 made by SMIC but there's limited info on it besides a 2.67GHz Cortex X1 prime core.
Its memory configurations are 12GB RAM and 256GB/512GB/1TB storage options. It also has a 5,300mAh battery with 66W HUAWEI SuperCharge and 50W wireless.
For cameras, the phone uses a 50MP ultra-wide main camera with f/1.4 to f/.4.0 variable aperture with OIS + 40MP f/2.2 ultra-wide + 12MP f/3.4 periscope telephoto sensor with OIS and there's also a 1.5MP multi-spectral red maple primary color camera.
At the front, it uses a 13MP ultra-wide sensor with f/2.4 aperture.
Other features are Ark Engine, 6644mm2 liquid cooling VC to keep the temperatures down, and IP68/69 dust and water resistance rating.

The Mate 70 Pro |
The Mate 70 Pro variant gets a larger 6.9-inch LTPO OLED HUAWEI Adrenaline display with 1.5K 2832 x 1316 resolution, 2nd gen Kunlun Glass.
Similarly, its chipset wasn't revealed as well but it comes with 12GB RAM and 256GB/512GB/1TB storage.
This uses a 5,500mAh battery but comes with faster 100W HUAWEI SuperCharege, 80W wireless, and 20W reverse wireless.
For cameras, the Pro variant uses 50MP super focus f/1.4 to f/4.0 aperture with OIS + 40MP f/2.2 ultra-wide angle + 48MP f/2.1 telephoto macro, OIS + 1.5MP multi-spectral red maple primary color camera.
The Pro version is also capable of reaching 4x optical zoom, 100x digital zoom, and 4K video recording.
For selfies, it has a 13MP + 3D depth helper.
Other features noted are an IP68/69 rating, larger VC cooling at 6870mm2, and Ark Engine bringing a 40 percent performance boost.
Connectivity features revealed are WiFi 6, Bluetooth 5.2, GPS, NFC, and satellite connectivity.
The brand did not reveal data regarding 4G and 5G connectivity. Theoretically, there should at least be a 4G like previous HUAWEI models.
For OS, both devices run HarmonyOS 4.3 out of the box.

The Mate 70 Series is now available for pre-order in China and is expected to go on sale on December 4. No word yet for any global announcement so far.
