realme GT7 Pro (Global) to launch on November 18

Following the China release, a realme executive says the GT7 Pro will launch globally this month.

The first global phone with Snapdragon 8 Elite?

This is confirmed by Chase Xu, realme's Vice President via his X post with the caption "We know you've been waiting for this. See you on November 18th!"

It is then followed by promotional material with the theme "EXPLORE THE UNEXPLORED".

With this information, the realme GT7 Pro would be the first device with Snapdragon 8 Elite to go global barely getting ahead of ROG Phone 9 which will launch a day after (Nov 19). Unless another phone maker makes the cut.

Assuming this would be the same device as the China variant, fans can expect a 6.78-inch 1.5K LTPO Eco OLED Plus micro-curved screen with 6,000 nits peak brightness, 2600Hz PWM dimming, 2600Hz instant touch sampling rate along with HDR10+ and Dolby Vision.

Powering the phone is the 4.32GHz 3nm Snapdragon 8 Elite 8-core chip with Adreno GPU, 12GB/16GB LPDDR5X RAM, 256GB/512GB/1TB UFS 4.0 storage, 6,500mAh battery with 120W wired SUPERVOOC.

In terms of imaging, the phone uses a 50MP f/1.8 main camera with a 1/1.56-inch Sony IMX906 sensor and OIS + 8MP f/2.2 ultra-wide camera + 50MP f/2.65 3x periscope telephoto camera with 1/1.95-inch IMX882 sensor with 120x Hybrid zoom + LED flash.

Additional features noted are an In-Display ultrasonic fingerprint sensor, an infrared sensor, stereo speakers, Hi-Res audio

It also has 5G SA/NSA, dual 4G VoLTE, WiFi 7, Bluetooth 5.4, GPS with L1 and L5 bands, Galileo, Beidou, QZSS, and NFC capabilities. 

The device runs on Android 15 with the realme UI 6.0 interface.

While there's a global confirmation, it is still unknown if the Philippines is included. Fortunately, we already had the comeback of GT6 last June 2024 so PH might still have a chance. 

In the meantime, let's all wait for the official launch.
