This is different from the PHP 7,995 Smart Bro Pocket Pro we tested a few months back.

The difference? The new device sports a bigger 2.4-inch touchscreen display so you can easily monitor the speed, and signal strength, as well as check the settings of the pocket WiFi. Moreover, it now has a larger 9,800mAh battery that can for 9.8 hours on a single charge. It can even be used as a power bank as it is a reverse charging cable.

The device also has NFC to simply tap to access WiFi for NFC-capable devices, dual-band WiFi (2.4GHz/5GHz), can connect up to 50 15 gadgets users, and supports 3G, 4G, and 5G.

There is no mention if it is Smart 5G Max ready. We will confirm this with Smart as soon as possible and update this article.

Based on its look, this device could be a rebadged ZTE U50 Pro. Note that ZTE is a partner of Smart so this is highly possible.

If we are correct, this device also has USB-C 27W fast charging support, up to WiFi 6 support, and the Snapdragon X62 processor from Qualcomm with support for 5G NR and low-frequency ENDC technology.
