HONOR X8c launched

It brings several upgrades like a sturdy build, faster, brighter screen, slightly upgraded chip, and upgraded battery.

The phone still comes with a faux leather design at the back with now checkered patterns for the Green colorway. The camera island is still square in shape but now comes with a fluted bezel like the X9c 5G's. The Midnight Black model has a minimalist rear, the Moonlight White has marble-like patterns, and the Cloud Purple has a unique icy texture.

It is also now drop resistant which can survive falls of 1.8 meters + 360 degrees overall fall protection as HONOR improved the screen's strength by 3 times. The phone also comes with IP64 water and dust resistance so it can survive dust or splashes.

In front, it still uses a 6.7-inch OLED screen with FHD+ 2412 x 1080 resolution but is upgraded to a 120Hz refresh rate and brighter 2,800 nits peak brightness.

Inside, it is equipped with a slightly better 2.8GHz 6nm Snapdragon 685 octa-core chip with Adreno 610 GPU, paired with 6GB/8GB RAM, and 128GB/256GB/512GB storage options.

For battery, it now has 5,000mAh and charges using 35W HONOR SuperCharge and USB-C.

The rear camera remains the same at 108MP + 5MP ultra-wide but HONOR removed the 2MP macro helper. HONOR also added OIS to the main camera for better night shots and steady captures. Furthermore, it still has a 50MP f/2.51 shooter for selfies.

The brand also brought some use AI camera software enhancements like the AI Eraser, AI Wide-Angle Selfie, and an exclusive watermark.

Other features noted are stereo speakers and side fingerprint sensors.

Connectivity-wise, it has 4G LTE, WiFi (2.4GHz/5GHz), Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, and dual SIM.

For OS, the phone runs Android 15 with MagicOS 9.0.
