It's tough but not perfect

Samsung's Galaxy S25 Series maintain a design similar to their predecessors, featuring rounded edges and distinctive metal rings around the rear cameras.

However, a recent durability test conducted by YouTuber JerryRigEverything revealed some unexpected details about these rings and other aspects of the S25 Ultra.

The camera rings, though appearing solid, were easily detached using a razor blade, suggesting they are attached with adhesive rather than being a permanent part of the assembly. While they are unlikely to fall off during normal use, this design choice is surprising for a flagship device.

The teardown also highlighted a misaligned Samsung logo on the back of the test unit, potentially a manufacturing defect, though it may be an isolated case. Additionally, the S25 Ultra's screen, despite featuring Gorilla Glass Armor 2, showed scratches at level 6 on the Mohs hardness scale, compared to level 7 for the S24 Ultra.

Other findings include the S Pen lacking Bluetooth functionality, despite having a battery compartment, and the titanium construction being limited to the phone's frame, excluding the side buttons. On a positive note, still the S25 Ultra passed the bend test without issues.

What do you guys think?
