Momax has launched its latest line of products, this time featuring Mobile Suit Gundam designs. One of the products featured in the line is the 1-Power X Pro Magnetic Wireless Power Bank. It includes color schemes from the RX-78-2 Gundam, MS-06 Zaku II, and MS-06 Zaku II Char's Custom.
Inside the box, you get the power bank itself, a USB-C to USB-C cable (1m), an instruction manual, and a warranty card.
What's inside the box?
The power bank packs a 5,000mAh battery capacity, with 20W PD and Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0 fast charging. It is MagSafe compatible and can charge up to three devices simultaneously.
It also has a built-in USB-C charging cable and a foldable metal stand for support or hands-free use.
This is compatible with both iOS and Android devices.

During the weeks that I tried out this power bank, I can say it is generally the same as any other wireless power bank.
When fully charged, its capacity is enough to fully charge an iPhone 14 in two hours, coming from 20 percent.

I observed it becoming slightly warm, which may have also slowed down the charging process. Other than that, I encountered no other issues.
I also tried using the power bank with a Samsung S23 Ultra, and it took almost an hour to go from 0 percent to 89 percent using the cord. During this test, I also noted a minor increase in the device's temperature.
It is also enough to almost fully charge our new Xiaomi 15 high-end smartphone.

The 1-Power X Pro Magnetic Wireless Power Bank weighs 165 grams, which for me is convenient even when inside the pocket. Plus points to the metal stand, I can conveniently use the phone even while charging.
When charging it, it takes around two hours to go from one bar to fully charged.

Quick thoughts
Overall, the MOMAX x Gundam 1-Power X Pro Magnetic Wireless Power Bank is a nifty and generally good power bank that works as good as advertised.
It has a stand, the magnet is stronger than cheaper alternatives, and it could be used even if your phone and other devices have no wireless charging support.
The only issue is the price. At PHP 2,690, it can be seen as pricey since there are similarly priced alternatives in the market that have bigger capacities.
But, you can also opt for the 10,000mAh variant with a bit thicker 21.5 mm body priced at PHP 3,290 SRP.
But if you are a Gundam fan, this may be something you consider, given its unique designs.
