OPPO Reno14 Series launched: Dimensity 8350/8450, 50MP main cam, 50MP periscope

Following the teaser, the OPPO Reno 14 Series was officially launched in China.

OPPO Reno 14 Series is now official

The phones arrived with stunning designs, particularly with the highlight colorway, White with a rainbow butterfly pattern. They are also available in Green, Purple, or Black colorways. Additionally, the devices have IP66/68/69 rating following the footsteps of their predecessor.

The Reno 14 design

Both devices feature a flat OLED panel with 1.5K resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate and OPPO Crystal Shield Glass protection, but differ in size. The base model has a 6.59-inch screen while the Pro has a slightly bigger display with 6.83 inches.

Inside, the OPPO Reno 14 sports a 3.35GHz 4nm Dimensity 8350 chip with Mali-G615 MC6 GPU. On the other hand, the Reno 14 Pro has a 3.25GHz 4nm Dimensity 8450 chip with Mali-G720 MC7 GPU.

Both offer 12GB/16GB LPDDR5X RAM and 256GB/512GB/1TB UFS 3.1 storage options.

The OPPO Reno 14 features

For batteries, the standard edition uses 6,000mAh while the Pro variant has 6,200mAh. The two versions also charge using USB-C 80W SUPERVOOC, but the bigger sibling gets 50W AIRVOOC wireless charging.

The Reno 14 Pro features

For cameras, the Reno 14 has a 50MP f/1.8 main sensor with OIS, an 8MP ultra-wide, and now it gets a 50MP 3.5x periscope sensor. The Reno 14 Pro gets similar 50MP cameras on the main and zoom, and the ultra-wide snapper has 50MP too. Furthermore, both phones use 50MP selfie cameras as well.

Others are stereo speakers for immersive listening. These phones also have AI features for photography and gaming.

For connectivity, they sport WiFi 6 (2.4GHz/5GHz), 5G SA/NSA, Bluetooth 5.4, GPS, NFC, and dual SIM.

For OS, the two phones run Android 15 with ColorOS 15 skin on top.
