OPPO Pad SE is the company's newest budget tablet with premium looks and matte display

Alongside the Reno14 Series, the new OPPO Pad SE is now official, the brand's budget tablet of the year.

Despite its budget price tag, the new tablet boasts a premium-looking metal body available in Starlight White and Twilight Blue colors. In front, it uses an 11-inch LCD screen with a 90Hz refresh rate, FHD+ 1920 x 1200 resolution, and up to 500 nits peak brightness.

It also has an optional eye-protection soft light screen option (matte display) designed to provide a paper-like anti-reflective effect. According to the company, it can "effectively reduce 97 percent of environmental interference to light to protect the eyesight of its users".

Key features of the tab

For specs, it arrived with the MediaTek's 6nm Helio G100 octa-core processor with Mali-G57 MC2 GPU, 6GB or 8GB LPDDR4X RAM, 128GB or 256GB UFS 2.2 internal storage, and a large 9,340mAh battery with USB-C fast charging.

The tablet also has a 5MP main shooter with 1080p 30fps video shooting capabilities and another 5MP snapper for selfies and video calls.

The device also has stereo speakers, WiFi (2.4GHz/5GHz), Bluetooth 5.4, and runs on Android 15 OS with ColorOS 15.0.1 skin on top.

The tablet also has Google Gemini AI integrated to provide real-time assistance as well as other AI tools designed to support work, planning, and more, as well as real-time file transfers, drag-and-drop file sharing, and seamless app switching with features like Content Sync and App Relay.

The device measures 254.91 x 166.46 x 7.3 mm and weighs 527 to 530 grams.
