Is this the Sony WH-1000XM6 with folding hinges?

Is this the successor to Sony's flagship Headphone line?

5 days ago, Reddit user "Peruho" posted a link to an Amazon Spain listing on the Sony Headphones subreddit that details the yet-to-be announced Sony WH-1000XM6 headphones. 2 days ago, on the same subreddit, Reddit user "HiNoAme3" posted a legitimate-looking advertising image of the same headphones. The render of the headphones looks similar to the current WH-1000XM5 in Silver but with a wider headband and folding hinges.

The same Amazon Spain listing expounded in Spanish the key features of the upcoming headphones, including a new QN3 HD Noise Cancelling Processor, 12 microphones, 30mm drivers, Foldable Design (folds flat), lightweight form factor, improved headband (more comfortable), premium-feeling soft padded ear cushions, 30 hours of battery life, fast charging (3-minute charge yields 3 hours playback), 6 AI-powered microphones (improved call clarity) and Multipoint connection (seamless switching between devices including iPhone, Android, PC and Mac). It also features Adaptive Sound Control, Quick Attention, Background Music, Personalised Spatial Audio, Wind Noise Reduction, 360 Reality Audio with Headtracking and Speak-to-Chat.

It will come with DSEE Extreme and a 10-band EQ, which is customizable via the Sony Sound Connect App.

As previously mentioned, the battery lasts 30 hours and is charged via the USB-C port. It connects wirelessly through Bluetooth 5.3, and it has a 3.5mm jack for wired connectivity. It supports SBC, AAC, LDAC and LC3 codecs.

The listing suggests that it will launch in the United States between May 14 and May 16, 2025, with a price of USD 449.99 (around PHP 25.1K without taxes). The leak is claiming that official pricing and full specifications are expected to be revealed the week after.

Take this information with a grain of salt until Sony's official announcement.
