ZOTAC NVIDIA GeForce RTX 50 series GPUs win the Red Dot Design awards |
The ZOTAC GAMING GeForce RTX 50 Series has a gunmetal grey colorway with geometrical motifs and colored accents that the brand claims go great with any PC case. The gold accents add a visual flair and act as a mid-frame structural reinforcement that ensures a robust structural integrity while being visually elegant. The geometrical patterns, on the other hand, complement the heatsink itself by integrating the inherent features of the GPU seamlessly into the design, which the company hopes will make it stand out above the competition.
The brand also boasts that the AMP Extreme INFINITY line shines best when in modern fish-tank cases because of its infinity mirror front and center. ZOTAC is saying that not only will your PC perform like a beast, but the GPU will also be the centerpiece of your battle station.

More details soon? |
But what stood out to us at the show floor was upcoming low-profile NVIDIA RTX 5060 GPUs from ZOTAC. A slim triple fan variant of its RTX 5060 series line of GPUs was spotted on the floor, but upon checking ZOTAC's website, it was yet to be announced. Details are scarce, but the spec card on the side states that it is a 2-slot card with an 8-pin power connector. It is low-profile and is SFF-ready. Like the rest of the RTX 5060 series, it is powered by Blackwell and supports DLSS 4.

Previous generation ZOTAC GAMING ZONE handheld
|
ZOTAC also boasted that its GAMING ZONE Handheld console took home a Red Dot Design award because of its innovative features and ergonomics. The brand says that the GAMING ZONE is the first Windows-based handheld PC to incorporate leading features such as a 7-inch AMOLED display, 2-stage triggers, a radial dial system for settings adjustments, and even a simple kick stand.
Inside the handheld is the AMD Ryzen 7 884OU Processor, Radeon 780M Graphics, 16GB LPDDR5X RAM, and 512GB NVMe PCIe 4.0 SSD.

The new ZOTAC Gaming Zone Handheld Prototype in White |
What surprised us was that on the same aisle, a new Prototype of the handheld was on display. One of the units was even plugged into a large monitor.
Apparently, this new 'White Edition' Prototype has an upgraded AMD Ryzen AI 9 HX 370 Processor, a Radeon 890M Graphics, 24GB/32GB LPDDR5X RAM, 1TB M.2 NVMe PCIe 4.0 SSD. The biggest difference is that the prototype has the Manjaro Linux OS installed instead of the previous generation's Windows 11.
Other features remain identical to the original. It has the same 7-inch AMOLED multi-touch display with 120Hz refresh rate and up to 800 nits peak brightness. It even has the same 48.5Wh Li-ion battery, WiFi 6E, Bluetooth 5.2, and UHS-II microSD card slot.
There is no word yet on availability and pricing.
Stay tuned.
