JBL brings latest portable speakers to Davao City, starts at PHP 2,450

Following their launch in Manila, JBL brings the Flip7, Go Essential 2, Charge 6, PartyBox 520, Encore 2, and Encore Essential 2 to Davao City.

JBL Flip 7

Let's begin with the JBL Flip 7. To recap, it features an easy-to-carry design with its swappable carrying accessory slot with either a fingerloop or carabiner.

It boasts IP68 dust and water resistance as well as a drop-proof body, allowing the device to withstand drops by up to 1 meter.

The Flip 7 sports a 25W woofer complemented with a 10W tweeter for producing a total of 35W sound with a frequency response ranging from 60Hz to 20KHz. It also has a 4,800mAh battery capable of lasting up to 14 hours or 16 hours using the Playtime Boost feature.

Furthermore, the Flip 7 connects using Bluetooth 5.4 with AAC codec support. If you want Hi-Res audio, you'll have to connect it using USB-C for a better sounding experience.

JBL Charge 6

Next is the JBL Charge 6. This is also a portable speaker featuring a detachable/versatile handle strap. Similarly, it has an IP68 dust and water resistance rating as well as 1 meter drop resistance.

It uses a 53mm x 93mm woofer coupled with a 20mm tweeter for a total of 45W sound. Additionally, it has a frequency response of 56Hz to 20KHz and features JBL Pro Sound + AI Sound Boost.

The device can also last for 24 hours with a single charge, but if you activate the JBL PlayTime Boost, it will be extended for another 4 hours for a total of 28 hours.

The portable speaker also supports Auracast, letting users pair two Charge 6 speakers, providing a wider sound stage for your outdoor parties.

The JBL Go Essential 2

Next is the JBL Go Essential 2. This is a more compact version with a square body able to fit in your pocket. 

While the speaker itself looks small, the brand claims it still has mighty JBL Original Pro sound and up to 5 hours of music playtime. 

Moreover, it also has an IP67 dust and water resistance rating for added protection.

JBL PartyBox

JBL PartyBox Encore 2, PartyBox 520, Encore Essential 2

Moving to the heavyweights. JBL also introduced the PartyBox Encore 2 and Encore Essential 2.

Similarly, they boast JBL Pro Sound power AI Sound Boost, alongside immersive Dynamic Lightshow to give vibrance to your parties.

The company claims this can last up to 15 hours of music, while it can also be connected to different JBL speakers using the AuraCast feature.

Users may also attach their microphones or guitar, bringing a karaoke/band-like experience.

Furthermore, it has an IPX4 splashproof rating, allowing the audio equipment to survive some accidental splashes.

Apart from these two party boxes, JBL also brought their real big gun here with the PartyBox 520. This is much larger in size with a tower-like appearance, but it comes with a telescopic handle so you can carry it on your outdoor activities.

It adopts the same JBL Pro Sound with AI Sound Boost, bigger lightshow, and can also handle 15 hours of music playback.

Just like other portable speakers, this audio unit can also sync with other JBL party boxes thanks to the AuraCast feature and has IPX4 splashproof resistance as well.

All JBL devices can be connected to their dedicated app, which can be downloaded via the Play Store or the App Store.

JBL Speaker/Alarm Clock

JBL Horizon 3

Aside from portable speakers, JBL unveiled the Horizon 3. It is a speaker and alarm clock with a built-in FM radio.

It also uses JBL Pro Sound and features Sunrise Effect Alarm. Users may also customize sleep modes and easily adjust ambient lighting depending on their preference.

Furthermore, users may view Time, Date, and battery information on their large display.
