realme 15 and 15 Pro 5G launched: 7,000mAh batteries, 4nm chips, 50MP Sony cameras

realme introduces the realme 15 Series today with upgraded chips and cameras.

The two devices have an identical design but differ in their color options.

The base model Green, Pink, and White choices, while the Pro has Green, White, and Purple colorways. Both devices also have IP68 and IP69 ratings for dust and water resistance. 

The realme 15 5G features

Both feature a 6.8-inch BOE 4D AMOLED panel with 1.5K resolution, 144Hz refresh rate, and 6,500 nits peak brightness.

The base model has a 2.5GHz 4nm Dimensity 7300+ octa-core chip with Mali-G615 MC2 GPU.

The realme 15 Pro 5G

The realme 15 Pro 5G uses a Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 octa-core chip with Adreno GPU. Both devices sport 12GB RAM and up to 14GB virtual RAM, and 128GB/256GB and 512GB storage options.

Both phones also sport large 7,000mAh batteries and charge using an 80W SUPERVOOC adaptor.

The realme 15 Pro 5G features

For cameras, the realme 15 5G uses a 50MP Sony IMX882 sensor with OIS + 8MP ultra-wide + LED flash.

The realme 15 Pro 5G has a 50MP Sony IMX896 sensor with OIS + 50MP ultra-wide snapper + LED flash. For selfies, both use a 50MP front shooter.

Other features are stereo speakers and Hi-Res audio certification.

Connectivity-wise, it has WiFi 6 (2.4GHz/5GHz), 5G SA/NSA, dual 4G VoLTE, Bluetooth 5.4, GPS, GLONASS, Beidou, and dual SIM.

For OS, the phones run Android 15 with realme UI 6.0 skin on top.
