A solid year for TCL

For the second year in a row, TCL, a leading consumer electronics brand, has secured the No. 1 spot in the Panel TV Brand category, based on the latest Annual Cumulative Market Share Data from TRS Research. The brand says the achievement reinforces TCL's standing in the global TV industry.

As TCL marks its 25th year in the business, the company has achieved another milestone by leading in both market share (value and volume) for its core TV segment. TRS research also indicates TCL's dominance in the premium TV category, ranking first in QLED television sales.

Recent data from market research firm Omdia further highlights TCL's performance, awarding it three Global TOP 1 rankings for its leadership in ultra-large TVs, Mini LED TVs, and Google TVs.

Meanwhile, Omdia's findings show that TCL accounted for 22.1 percent of global shipments for 85-inch and larger TVs in 2024. The company also led Mini LED TV shipments with a 28.8 percent market share and maintained its top position in Google TV shipments from 2021 to 2024.
