The BoxTrade service simplifies the trade-in process, allowing customers to upgrade their Apple devices, including iPhones, iPads, AirPods, and Smartwatches, with ease while gaining attractive discounts.
The BoxTrade program enables customer to trade in their old device for digital credits that can be applied toward the purchase of a new Apple product at Beyond the Box stores. Whether online or in-store, the process is streamlined to ensure a seamless experience. The program accepts a variety of devices, including defective ones, provided they pass a diagnostic test via the CompAsia App. The same app is available on the Apple App Store and the Google Play Store. Traded-in devices are securely refurbished, recycled, or resold after undergoing a data erasure process compliant with international standards (DoD 5220.22-M), ensuring user data is permanently deleted.

How to avail the BoxTrade service?
In-Store Trade-In Process:
1. Download and Scan: Install the CompAsia app from the Apple App Store or the Google Play Store. At any Beyond the Box store, scan the provided QR code and complete the quick diagnostic assessment of your device.
2. Receive Instant Discount: The app generates a digital credit based on your device's condition, which is automatically deducted from the price of your new Apple product.
3. Seamless Transaction: Pay the remaining balance using any of Beyond the Box's Payment methods and walk away with your upgraded device.
Online Trade-In Process:
1. Download the CompAsia App: The app allows users to initiate the trade-in process remotely.
2. Complete Diagnostic Tests: Log in with your phone number or email, select 'Start Trade-in', and run a series of tests to evaluate your device's functionality.
3. Verify and Finalize: A courier verifies the device condition upon pickup, confirming the trade-in value. If the quoted value changes, customers can choose to proceed or cancel. The credit is then applied to your purchase at Beyond the Box.
Key Requirements for Trade-in
1. Devices must be legally owned and not tied to any telecom contracts.
2. Devices must not be network/IMEI blocked, reported stolen, or counterfeit.
3. Devices must be unlocked from iCloud or Google Accounts.
Interested customers have until September 2025 to get up to PHP 4,000 bonus credits on Tuesdays for select trade-ins.
