HONOR X7c 5G launched: Snapdragon 4 Gen 2, IP64 dating, and drop resistant body

HONOR drops the 5G edition of HONOR X7c, following last year's launch.

A mini bump in connectivity

Just like the 4G edition, the phone boasts a design reminiscent of the iPhone 14 Series, except it has a cross faux leather finish for the Green variant and a shell-like texture for the White model.

The phone also retains its 5-star drop resistance from SGS and the IP64 rating for dust and water

In front, the phone uses a 6.8-inch TFT LCD with FHD+ 2412 x 1080 resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, and 850 nits of peak brightness.

The features

Inside, the phone uses a 2.2GHz 4nm Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 8-core with Adreno GPU, 8GB LPDDR4X RAM, and 256GB storage.

The battery comes with a 5,200mAh capacity and charges with a 35W USB-C power brick.

Camera-wise, the phone is equipped with a 50MP f/1.8 shooter paired with a 2MP depth sensor and an LED flash.

Other features noted are a 3.5mm audio jack and stereo speakers.

Connectivity features are WiFi (2.4GHz/5GHz), 5G SA/NSA, 4G VoLTE, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, and dual SIM.

For OS, the phone runs on Android 14 with MagicOS 8.0 skin on top.

The phone is now available in India via Amazon. Unfortunately, there's no word yet if it will arrive in the Philippines.
