An improved experience for OPPO's flagship foldable

To recap, the OPPO Find N5 is one of the thinnest foldables of this year with just 4.21mm measurement when unfolded.

Furthermore, the phone packs triple IPX6, IPX8, IPX9 rating for water resistance and sports up to an 8.12-inch LTPO AMOLED panel with 2K resolution and 1-120Hz refresh rate.

The display

Inside, it boasts a 4.32GHz 3nm Snapdragon 8 Elite 7-core chip with Adreno GPU, 16GB/512GB LPDDR5X memory.

In the camera department, it has a 50MP f/1.89 Sony LYT-700 main shooter with an OIS + 8MP ultra-wide + 50MP f/2.7 3x telephoto sensor.  On the selfie side, both the outer and inner screen have 8MP f/2.4 21mm lenses.

Below are the features brought by the August 2025 update for ColorOS 15:

Unlock a new level of seamless experience

• Improved animation for opening, repositioning, and resizing a floating window.

Delight in details

• You can now share images and videos in Private Safe.
• You can now customize image or video album covers in Private Safe.
• You can now add files directly under the "Other files" category in Private Safe.
• Split View is no longer restricted to fixed ratios. You can now adjust the ratio as needed. When two apps are displayed in Split View on the primary display, you can now drag the divider to adjust their relative sizes.
• When recent tasks are stacked, you can now modify an app's lock status by swiping down on the app on the recent tasks screen.
• You can now add an unlimited number of files to Private Safe in Documents at once, instead of the previous limit of 500.

Network Connections

• You can now send text, image, and voice messages to nearby people via BeaconLink when there is no internet connection. You can find his feature in "Settings - Mobile network - BeaconLink".

System 

• Integrates the August 2025 Android security patch to enhance system security.
