Samsung Galaxy Buds Core now available in PH: ANC, 35 hours playtime, and PHP 2,690 price tag

Samsung quietly introduces the Galaxy Buds Core, featuring active noise cancellation, Bluetooth 5.4, and an IP54 rating, to the Philippines for PHP 2,690.

The new Galaxy Buds Core refines the classic Galaxy Buds' look while adding modern features such as quick pair, location tracking (with Samsung Find), and multi-device connection with Auto Switch.

Like most modern earphones in 2025, it supports Interpreter mode, where users can hear the translation of foreign languages on the spot without needing to look at the screen of their smartphones.

It features a silicone wingtip design with silicone ear cups that come in either black or white. The earbuds each feature IP54 dust and water resistance. Each bud weighs 5.3 grams while the case weighs 31.2 grams. The earbuds measure 19.2 x 17.1 x 22.2, while the case measures 50.0 x 50.5 x 27.7.

The buds feature a 1-way dynamic driver and over 3 microphones on each earbud. This is composed of two outer microphones and one inner microphone in each earbud. Powering the bud is a 65mAh battery, while the case carries 500mAh. Samsung advertises up to 35 hours of playtime without Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) and up to 20 hours play playtime with ANC.

It connects via Bluetooth 5.4 with supported codecs including AAC, SBC, and Scalable Codec.

Other features include Samsung Find, Hall sensor, proximity sensor, and touch sensor.
