Following its announcement in China last April 2024, the OPPO Watch X2 Mini is now official in the Philippines.

The Watch X2 Mini features a compact yet premium design and is available in Nebula Black and Glimmer Gold variants, with the latter sporting an 18K gold-coated stainless steel case.

The color options

The device includes a 1.32-inch AMOLED 2.5D display with a resolution of 466 x 466 pixels (352 ppi) and a peak brightness of 1,000 nits, ensuring visibility even in direct sunlight.

Under the hood, it is equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon W5 Gen 1 chip and a BES2800BP co-processor, designed to optimize performance while minimizing power consumption. It comes with 2GB of RAM, 32GB of storage, and an additional 4GB eMMC storage.

The features

The OPPO Watch X2 Mini primarily focuses on health monitoring. It comes with an 8-channel heart rate sensor and a 16-channel SpO₂ sensor for continuous tracking. 

The watch also monitors stress levels, sleep cycles (including REM stages), and analyzes bio-signals to detect potential snoring risks. 

Furthermore, it includes women’s health monitoring, such as menstrual cycle tracking and ovulation prediction.

Battery life reaches up to 2.5 days in smart mode and extends to 7 days in power-saving mode. 

The watch supports fast charging, with a 10-minute charge providing enough power for a full day, while a full charge takes approximately one hour, as per OPPO.

Fitness tracking includes over 100 workout modes, with auto-detection for six activities and advanced metrics for running, swimming, and skiing. Runners receive detailed analytics, a Fat Burn Run mode with voice guidance, and AI-powered post-run insights.

Its Travel Guardian system offers real-time location sharing, health alerts, and emergency contact activation. 

Connectivity features are WiFi (2.4GHz/5GHz), Bluetooth 5.2 with Bluetooth calling support, and NFC payment via Google Wallet. Furthermore, it provides accurate locations using Beidou, GPS, Galileo, GLONASS, and QZSS.

Additional functionalities include remote camera control, music playback management, and notification syncing via Fluid Cloud.

The Watch X2 Mini runs on Google Wear OS + RTOS. It supports Android 9.0 or above. Unfortunately, the global variant doesn't support iOS and Android Go Edition.
