Possibly a case of corruption?

The previous mayor of San Dionisio in Iloilo is being accused of allegedly purchasing a PC unit for PHP 10 million.

According to a Facebook post, current Mayor Sally Lopez is questioning the purchase of the unit allegedly made by previous mayor Darwin Bajada.

Lopez said the PC unit was not even inspected, but payment was immediately settled.

According to one netizen's observations, the unit is not a branded server, but a generic one.

Based on the pictures shared, one Facebook user sees an ASUS H610M R microATX LGA 1700 Motherboard at around PHP 6,000, a CVS 750W ATX Power Supply worth at least PHP 465, a GSkill Memory 32 GB (2x16GB) DDR5 Trident 6400MHz at around PHP12,000, Seagate 4TB 5400 rpm worth around PHP 7,000, casing at least PHP 1,000, a monitor at PHP 6,500, a keyboard for only PHP 200, a mouse for PHP 300, and UPS for PHP 5,000.

Another user also shared their estimates, a CVS LP-750W power supply unit worth at least PHP1,000, an Intel stock cooler with blue LED lighting possinly Intel Core i3/i5/i7 (10th–12th gen) worth at least PHP 4,000, an ASUS motherboard at least PHP 3,000, a 3.5" Seagate HDD (1TB) for at least PHP 1,500, an 8–16GB DDR4 RAM for at least PHP 1,500, and a standard mid-tower case possibly at least PHP 1,000.

Is this possibly another case of corruption that needs to be investigated?

What do you guys think?
