nubia Air announced: 5.9mm slim, IP69K, 5,000mAh, 1.5K AMOLED screen
In Berlin, Germany, ZTE officially joined the slim phone bandwagon with the launch of nubia Air.

Available in Titanium Black, Streamer Black, and Titanium Desert colors, the new device features a super-thin 5.9mm body, but with a "solid" build. It arrived in a high-strength aluminum frame with 4-corner internal reinforcement, making the phone durable and drop-resistant.

Moreover, it is IP68, IP69, and IP69K rated for dust and water resistance, making it protected even against pressurized hot water jets, the highest on a slim phone yet.

In front, its 6.78-inch screen is protected by Corning's Gorilla Glass 7i to prevent hairline scratches and avoid easy breakage when dropped. This display is AMOLED for deeper blacks and punchier colors with a 120Hz refresh rate and 2720 x 1224 resolution, 100 percent DCI-P3 color gamut, 4,500 nits peak brightness, and an In-Display fingerprint reader.
Inside, the phone is powered by an unspecified octa-core 5G processor with 2x Cortex-A78 cores clocked at 2.2GHz. Reportedly, this is the 6nm UNISOC T8300 octa-core processor with Mali-G57 MC2 GPU found on the nubia Neo 3 5G (PHP 9,999 SRP).
The chip is paired with 8GB RAM + 12GB virtual RAM for up to 20GB Dynamic RAM and 256GB internal storage.
Despite having a 5.9mm slim body, nubia was able to fit a fairly large 5,000mAh battery with USB-C 33W fast charging.

It also has a 50MP main shooter, a 2MP depth shooter, and a 0.08MP auxiliary lens. In front, there is a 20MP snapper for selfies.
The cameras also support AI Super Night and AI High Dynamic Range. For editing, it has the AI Magic Photos, which include the Magic Editor, Magic Eraser, and more.
Other features include HiFi 4 DSP, Dual-Mic AI Noise Cancellation
It also has Google Gemini and plenty of other AI tools.
