OPPO A6 Pro (global) launched: 7,000mAh battery, durable build, and Dimensity 7300

The OPPO A6 Pro has been officially launched, featuring a large battery and a design focused on durability.

The device is offered in four colorways: Stellar Blue, Rosewood Red, Lunar Titanium, and Coral Red. It also measures 7.96mm in thickness and weighs 190 grams.

It packs triple rating for dust and water resistance, namely IP66/68/69. Moreover, this phone has MIL-STD-810 certification, allowing it to withstand accidental drops, falls, and scratches.

The device features a 6.57-inch OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, FHD+ resolution, a peak brightness of 1400 nits, 100 percent DCI-P3 color gamut, and 2160Hz PWM dimming.

The phone is equipped with a 2.5GHz 4nm MediaTek Dimensity 7300 SoC with Mali-G615 GPU, paired with up to 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage.

Meanwhile, the 4G model uses a 2.2GHz 6nm MediaTek Helio G100 chip with Mali-G57MC2 GPU.

Powering the device is a 7,000mAh battery that supports USB 80W SUPERVOOC charging.

It uses a dual-camera setup in the rear featuring a 50MP main sensor and a 2MP secondary sensor, along with a 16MP front-facing camera.

Other features include an in-display fingerprint scanner, stereo speakers, and an IR blaster. 

For connectivity, the phone supports WiFi 6, 5G, 4G, Bluetooth 5.4, GPS, NFC, and dual SIM functionality. 

On the software side, it runs on Android 15 with ColorOS 15.0 skin on top.

It is currently listed on the OPPO Malaysia website. The pricing is also confusing, but remember that each variant is released in different regions with different taxes and duties. No word yet on its availability here in the Philippines.
