CIMB Bank PH and McDonald's extends CIMB Pay QR Payment cashback campaign

CIMB Bank PH customers who pay with CIMB Pay QR Payment at McDonald's restaurants get instant PHP 30 cashback for purchases of at least PHP 200.

PHP 30 Instant Cashback extended until the end of the year!

McDonald's is the latest addition to CIMB Bank PH's growing number of merchant partners. With CIMB Pay, customers can get exclusive access to special deals from popular brands while enjoying safe and convenient cashless transactions.

CIMB Pay is the QR PH-powered feature found on the CIMB Bank PH mobile app that makes cashless payments supposedly safer and easier. Customers only need to scan any QR PH code to transfer funds, pay merchants, and even settle their bills with zero fees. CIMB Pay can be used at over 1 million merchants in the Philippines.

The cashback campaign began last October 1st, 2025, and was supposedly for October only. But because the two brands experienced overwhelming success that they decided to extend it until the end of the year.

CIMB Bank App's recent transaction with PHP 30 instant cashback

Customers who purchased food items worth PHP 200 and more at McDonald's restaurant and paid with CIMB Pay's QR payment system will get instant PHP 30 cashback. The cash back is capped at three redemptions per month. Because the campaign has been extended until December 31, 2025, this means that customers can get up to 3 cash backs per month for the remaining days of October, until November and December. This gets up to PHP 270 of savings if customers decide to eat at McDonald's three times a month for the rest of the year.
