Let's take a look back at the HUAWEI MatePad 11.5 (2025) PC-like experience that was announced back in August 2025.

To recap, it is a tablet with a premium metallic body available in two colorways of Violet and Space Grey.

The design

It's display packs an 11.5-inch PaperMatte panel made of nano-level etching and magnetron nano optical coating. This makes the screen produce less glare and achieve a feeling of writing or sketching similar to real paper, thus making it suitable for your creative work or taking notes.

In screen also features a stunning 2456 x 1600 resolution that can adapt between 60Hz to 120Hz. It also has 100 percent sRGB color accuracy, 16.7M colors, and an 86 percent screen-to-body ratio. Moreover, it has a 600 nits of peak brightness, so you can use it under a decent lighting environment.

Inside, it uses a Kirin chip and is paired with 8GB RAM, 256GB, 10,100mAh battery with 40W SuperCharge Adaptor. It also has a 13MP AF rear camera with f/1.8 aperture + LED flash and an 8MP front shooter for selfies and video calls.

The tablet also features quad speakers and dual microphones, and is enhanced by HUAWEI Histen 9.0 sound effect.

Our thoughts

All in all, the new HUAWEI MatePad 11.5 (2025) is a pretty versatile tablet. It's not so hard to like what it offers for an under PHP 20K device. We can see it being great for school, work, or even entertainment use.

Additionally, it's a bonus that you can use it like a PC and a sketch pad with its included HUAWEI Smart Keyboard and M-Pencil 3rd gen.

It's still not a flagship-level device, but it does deliver well for everyday use with a vivid paper-like display with anti-glare, long long-lasting battery, a sleek design, and very good-sounding speakers.

Furthermore, you can a FREE useful apps like HUAWEI Notes, WPS Office 2.0, and HUAWEI Go Paint Illustrator app.

With that being said, we think that's PHP 21.9K price tag justifies what it offers.
