To recap, HUAWEI claims it is the first in the industry to be rated for dives up to 150 meters and to feature sonar-based underwater messaging.

This technology allows for watch-to-watch communication at distances of up to 30 meters. A one-touch SOS feature is also available at depths of up to 60 meters.

The device is built with an octagonal, skeletonized case made from ultra-durable zirconium-based Liquid Metal, paired with a dual-toned nano-tech ceramic bezel.

This design is intended to offer a robust build while remaining lightweight. A wave-textured fluoroelastomer strap is included for comfort, and the watch will be available in Blue and Black colorways.

The front is protected by sapphire glass and features a 1.5-inch LTPO display with a peak brightness of 3,500 nits, designed for readability in direct sunlight and underwater.

Its display shows critical dive data such as depth, time, speed, No-Decompression Limit (NDL), and oxygen partial pressure (PO2). Post-dive records can be reviewed within a companion app.

For connectivity, a new antenna system is designed to intelligently optimize signals for eSIM calls and navigation. The device also incorporates the HUAWEI Sunflower Positioning System with dual-frequency five-system GNSS, aimed at providing accurate location markings for a safe return during Expedition Mode.

Beyond diving, the watch includes an expanded Golf Course Mode with over 17,000 zoomable course maps worldwide. It supports independent eSIM calls with AI noise cancellation, allowing for use without a smartphone. To streamline interactions, the watch features Smart Gestures for tasks like answering calls or remote photo control, as well as QR and NFC code scanning activated by raising the wrist.

Health monitoring is handled by an upgraded TruSense system, which now includes Multi-Sensing X-TAP technology. A feature called Health Glance can be accessed in three seconds, promising a comprehensive health report with over 10 key metrics in 60 seconds, including real-time blood oxygen, emotional well-being, sleep health, and heart health.

Battery life varies by mode, offering up to 18 hours in Dive mode, 40 hours in Expedition mode, 24 hours in Golf mode, and 22 hours in Trail Run mode. Under light usage with power saving enabled, the watch is stated to last for up to 11 days on a single charge.
