Richard Yu, Chairman of HUAWEI's Consumer Business Group, shared a video and the series' promotional teaser, which featured a smartphone with a distinctive dual-ring camera design on its back. 

While not explicitly named by the executive, the device's prominent design has led to speculation that it is the Pro Max variant previously reported.

The official teaser was itself shared from the device in question, reinforcing speculation about the new model's existence.

The design of the purported Mate 80 Pro Max appears to build upon the aesthetic of the Mate 60 Pro. 

It features a large primary camera ring housing four lenses and an LED flash, accompanied by a secondary ring of a similar size, creating a distinct two-tiered appearance. The XMAGE branding is visible in the space between the rings.

This unique layout has prompted online discussion, with some observers suggesting it may incorporate new magnetic charging technology. Huawei has not released specific details about the design's functionality or the device's features.

The full reveal for the Mate 80 series is scheduled for November 25. Industry observers anticipate the launch may also include the introduction of a new Kirin 9030 5G chipset, alongside other products.
