HUAWEI nova 15 Pro launched: Kirin 9010S, 6,500mAh batter, and 50MP RYYB main camera

HUAWEI has launched its nova 15 series in China, including the nova 15 Pro.

The device is available in the colors Vibrant Green, Purple, Zero Degree White, and Phantom Night Black. Furthermore, it has an IP65 dust and water resistance rating similar to the base model.

It features a 6.84-inch curved OLED display with 2856 x 1320 1.5K resolution. The screen supports a 120Hz adaptive LTPO refresh rate, 2160Hz PWM dimming, and a 300Hz touch sampling rate.

The phone is powered by the Kirin 9010S chipset and offers internal storage options of 256GB, 512GB, or 1TB.

It is equipped with a 6,500mAh battery that supports 100W wired SuperCharge.

The rear camera system includes a 50MP RYYB main sensor with optical image stabilization + 12MP RYYB telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom and OIS + 13MP RYYB ultra-wide macro lens, and a 1.5MP multi-spectral sensor. The setup supports 30x digital zoom and 4K video recording. 

The front-facing camera is a 50MP portrait unit with AIS stabilization and 4K video support.

Other features include stereo speakers with HUAWEI Histen tuning.

HarmonyOS 6.0

For connectivity, it supports WiFi 7+, Bluetooth 6.0, GPS, GLONASS, Beidou, Galileo, QZSS, NavIC, NFC, and dual SIM support.

The device operates on the HarmonyOS 6.0 operating system.

It is currently available in China. HUAWEI has not mentioned availability for other markets at the moment.
