OPPO Reno15 5G gets a Starry Pink model featuring Starburst Design

OPPO has introduced a Starry Pink color variant for its Reno15 5G smartphone in the Chinese market.

According to the company, the rear panel utilizes an industry-first starburst grating process designed to produce a twinkling visual effect when the device is tilted. The design incorporates a textured metal frame and a high-gloss, ice-clear glass in a pink finish.

Promotional offers for purchasers include a choice of complimentary headphones or a gift box, with students eligible to receive an OPPO fast-charging power bank.

The back design and cameras

To recall, the device is equipped with a 6.32-inch flat OLED display featuring a 1.5K resolution of 2640 x 1216 pixels, a 120Hz refresh rate, a 240Hz touch sampling rate, and a claimed peak brightness of up to 3,600 nits. The screen is protected by OPPO's Crystal Shield Glass and incorporates 3,840Hz high-frequency PWM dimming technology.

The China model is driven by the 3.25GHz 4nm MediaTek Dimensity 8450 octa-core processor, paired with a Mali-G720 MC7 GPU. Note that the Global model uses a different Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 processor.

The smartphone is available in configurations offering 12GB or 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM, alongside storage options of 256GB, 512GB, or 1TB utilizing UFS 3.1 technology.

A 6,200mAh battery powers the device, supporting 80W wired SUPERVOOC fast charging via USB-C.

The camera system includes a 200MP main sensor with Optical Image Stabilization (OIS), a 50MP ultra-wide camera with a 112-degree field of view, and a 50MP 3.5x periscope telephoto lens, also with OIS. 

For selfies and video calls, a 50MP camera is included. All cameras support 4K video recording at 60 frames per second.

Additional features consist of an in-display optical fingerprint sensor, an infrared remote control sensor, and stereo speakers. 

Connectivity options cover WiFi6, 5G SA/NSA, Dual 4G VoLTE, Bluetooth 5.4, and support for multiple satellite positioning systems, including Beidou, GPS, and GLONASS.

The OPPO Reno15 runs on the Android 16 operating system, overlaid with OPPO's ColorOS 16 interface.
