HONOR Philippines today started teasing a new smartphone that will be available in the country soon. That device is the HONOR X8d.

The HONOR X8d is poised to be an affordable smartphone designed for students. 

It features a slim and sleek profile at 7.5mm despite having a large 7,000mAh battery capacity that is TÜV Rheinland-certified for 52 hours of usage. This big battery also has a battery health retention of 80% after 6 years based on HONOR Lab simulation and a USB-C 45W fast charging.

The design of the phone

This even has up to 2 meters of drop resistance, tested on marble and granite, as well as IP65 dust and water resistance, resulting in SGS 5-star certification for drop and crush resistance.

In front, the device has a 6.77-inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and FHD+ resolution.

Inside, it is powered by the 6nm Snapdragon 6s 4G Gen 2 chip with 8GB RAM, up to 8GB RAM Turbo expansion, and up to 512GB of internal storage.

For cameras, the handset highlights a 108MP Ultra-Clear Camera with AI editing tools like retouch, eraser, reflection removal, and upscale. It also has up to 3x lossless zoom for Portraits and a RAW domain algorithm to enhance depth and texture, even in night mode.

Moreover, the phone has a stereo speaker with up to 300% volume.

The HONOR X8d also enhances productivity and convenience with its smart AI features, including an Instant AI Button that provides quick access to essential tools, while Circle to Search and Magic Portal deliver seamless information retrieval.

There is also an AI-powered screen suggestions and automatically streamlines everyday tasks, complemented by multi-language recognition and intelligent writing assistance for a more efficient user experience.
