Infinix's new hardcore gaming flagship?

The new Infinix GT 50 Pro's design features 3D textures inspired by SuperCars with Mechanical Light technology. It has 8 different lighting patterns. The phone measures 162.44 x 77.23 x 8.15mm and weighs 198 grams. It is IP64 dust and water resistance rating.

It features pressure-sensitive GT Triggers that detect taps, presses, and swipes. It is so sensitive that it detects pressure at up to 10 grams. Infinix claims that it stays accurate even when your fingers are sweaty or wet.

In front of the phone is the 6.78-inch LTPS AMOLED screen with a 2,644 x 1,208 resolution, a 4,500 nits peak brightness, a 144Hz adaptive refresh rate, and a 330Hz touch sampling rate. It supports 2,304Hz PWM Dimming and is Corning Gorilla Glass 7i protected. It is TUV Low Blue Light certified.

Inside is the 4nm MediaTek Dimensity 8400 Ultimate octa-core processor and Mali-G720 MC7 GPU. It is cooled by a massive 7,700mm² Vapor Chamber, a 25,000mm² graphite sheet, and a HydroFlow Liquid Cooling architecture with a flow channel design created by a micron-laser. This makes heat dissipation more efficient and more stable in the long run. It results in super-fast liquid cooling circulation at up to 6.5ml/min flow rate.

Alongside are the 12GB LPDDR5X RAM, 256GB/512GB UFS 4.1 internal storage, and a 6,500mAh battery with bypass charging, 45W fast wired charging, 10W reverse wired charging, 30W wireless charging, and 5W reverse wireless charging.

At the back of the phone are the 50MP f/1.59 main camera and an 8MP f/2.2 ultra-wide angle camera with dual LED flash. While in front is the 13MP f/2.2 selfie camera.

Other features include an in-display fingerprint scanner, IR blaster, stereo speakers, USB-C, 5G, WiFi 6, Bluetooth 5.4, NFC, GPS, and dual nanoSIM.

Running the show is Android 16-based XOS 16 with 3 years of Android updates and 5 years of security patches.
