REDMI A7 Pro 5G to launch with 6.9-inch display + 6,300mAh battery on April 13

Xiaomi reveals the launch date of its upcoming budget phone with 5G connectivity.

New budget 5G launching soon

The new device is called the Redmi A7 Pro 5G. According to the brand,  the launch date will be on April 13 in India. 

Reports suggest it will bring a notable set of hardware upgrades to one of its latest budget-tier offerings.

As per the teaser, the India model will be equipped with a MASSIVE 6.9-inch screen with a waterdrop notch.

The features

It will also carry an octa-core 5G chip, though the details remain scarce at the moment.

Furthermore, it will feature a larger 6,300mAh battery, up from the 6,000mAh unit found on its predecessor.

The device will also feature a 32MP primary rear camera and run Xiaomi's HyperOS 3 out of the box.

Xiaomi has also confirmed that the device will support a range of AI capabilities, including Circle to Search, as well as a durable build. Further technical specifications are expected to be revealed closer to the official launch date.
