CES 2026: Acer Predator Helios 18 AI, Nitro 16, Nitro Blaze Link, and accessories introduced

Aside from the Predator Atlas 8, Acer also released its Predator and Nitro Series of gaming laptops at the recently held CES 2026.

2026 Beastly gaming lineup

Starting with the Predator Helios 18 AI (PH18-I71), an iF Design Award 2026 winner, is equipped with up to an Intel Core Ultra 9 processor 290HX Plus and up to an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5090 Laptop GPU. It can be configured with up to 256 GB of memory and 6 TB of storage.

The 18-inch Mini LED WQUXGA display delivers 1000 nits of brightness in HDR mode, Calman Verified color accuracy, and 100% DCI-P3 coverage. 

Acer also included a Dual-Mode function that allows switching between 4K at 120 Hz and Full HD at 240 Hz. 

Meanwhile, the cooling is managed by dual 6th Gen Predator AeroBlade 3D Fans with 0.05 mm metal blades, which the company states provides a 20% increase in airflow over generic plastic fans, along with vector heat pipes and liquid metal thermal grease. 

Audio features Acer’s patented Predator Vox six-speaker system. Connectivity includes Intel Killer DoubleShot Pro technology (WiFi 7 BE1750x and Ethernet E5000B) and two Thunderbolt 5 ports.

Acer Nitro 16

The 16-inch Acer Nitro 16 (AN16-A91) display offers WQXGA resolution, 100% sRGB coverage, up to a 240 Hz refresh rate, and up to a 3 ms response time. 

It is also the first Acer gaming laptop to feature up to an AMD Ryzen 9 9955HX3D processor with 2nd Gen AMD 3D V-Cache technology, paired with up to an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5070 Ti Laptop GPU. Its cooling system includes dual fans, quad intakes, quad exhausts, and vector heat pipes. 

Connectivity includes USB 4 and Wi-Fi 6E. The Acer NitroSense utility allows users to adjust performance and fan settings.

Acer Nitro Blaze Link

The Acer Nitro Blaze Link (GN772) is a streaming-first handheld device that pairs with Acer PCs such as the Predator Helios 18 AI and Nitro 16, allowing users to stream games from an existing PC without local processing. 

It features a 7-inch WUXGA touchscreen and weighs 464 grams. It also includes dual 2-watt speakers tuned for dialogue clarity and in-game sound cues. Meanwhile, it uses a

Accessories

Acer also introduced the Predator Aethon 750 TKL keyboard (PKR750), which features custom magnetic switches, an 8,000 Hz polling rate, and full anti-ghosting support. It supports wired, Bluetooth, and 2.4 GHz wireless connections, and includes per-key RGB backlighting and Predator QuarterMaster 2.0 software.

The Predator Robust Plus Backpack (PBG691) includes a padded compartment for laptops up to 18 inches, a vacuum compression storage compartment, and a charging cable pass-through for external power banks. The exterior is water-resistant, and an internal waterproof compartment provides added protection.
